In this essay we explored the depths of the consideration of animals and other non-human creatures. We battled the moral complexes of whether animals deserve to be treated as equals and if its right to torture them in the name of better taste. David Foster Wallace’s “Consider The Lobster”, Ross Andersen’s “What the Crow Knows”, and Hal Herzog’s “Animals Like Us”, have changed my perspective on how I believe animals and other living creatures should be treated. Today non human living creatures are being brutally tortured and harmed in the name of better taste. Animals feel pain and do not deserve the treatment they are currently receiving. No matter if you are human, animal, insect or crustacean, you deserve to die with dignity and respect.
